Someone Like You was formed in August of 2004 when vocalist/guitarist Josh Murley teamed up with drummer/keyboardist Patrick McCorkindale. Bassist Mark Auld joined three months later. Someone Like You won 2004 best new band and Josh won best male vocalist in Kerrville, TX. With musical styles ranging from alternative rock to funk to folk, Someone Like You keeps their patrons enthralled and amazed. They are known for a plethora of memorable originals and at least as many crowd pleasing covers.
